Phase 4
Pasig River Project Phase 4
Pursuant to its mission, the IAC-PRUD facilitated the development of the Pasig River as a vibrant and thriving destination that seamlessly integrates cultural preservation, intercity connectivity, pedestrian accessibility, and economic revitalization. Restoring the Pasig River to its former glory, ultimately transforming it into a vibrant tourist attraction.
Looking ahead, the next phase that approximately spans 380 meters will focus on developing walkways, bike lanes, commercial spaces and bridges. The development will seamlessly connect Phase 1A to the LRTA property and extend all the way to Arroceros Forest Park along the Pasig River. This expansion will not only encourage more pedestrian and cyclist activity but also attract tourists, creating a continuous route from Fort Santiago to Arroceros Forest Park. More than just a scenic boardwalk, this phase will serve as a catalyst for local economic growth, providing opportunities for small and medium businesses to thrive within the newly developed commercial spaces.
